What are the costs and benefits of membership?
The cost of membership is:
- $44.00 (incl GST) for individual membership
- $33.00 (incl GST) for individual associate / affiliate membership
- $99.00 (incl GST) for school membership
Professional association fees are tax deductible.
Application for Membership to SASSPA
Member’s benefits include:
- early notification of all SASSPA events
- discounted attendance fees at SASSPA Seminars and
Conferences
- four issues of the publication, Netlink, each year
(individual members receive their own copy)
- the gaining of knowledge and experience from your
colleagues from around the state whether by reading NetLink or
attending one of our many events
- full individual membership entitles you to
automatic entry into our Accreditation Program. Points associated
with the Accreditation Program lead to members being awarded
Statements and Certificates with the highest award attainable being
the SASSPA Diploma.
Accreditation points can be accrued in any of
the following ways:
- completing DET approved learning eg Certificate
III in School Administration
- attracting new members to the Association
- writing an article and having it published in NetLink
- attending SASSPA event
